A veteran of the DC area and Celiac Disease since 2007, I'm just a simple girl looking for some great gluten free beer and pizza...and cupcakes, and pasta, and bakery. Originally from Milwaukee, I've watched my hometown go from one, teeny tiny gluten free grocery store, to having multiple gluten free pizza places, burger places, bakeries, and even have gluten-free stands at the State Fair. My question is--wtf DC? Catch up!
In an effort to prove myself wrong, to show that DC is gluten free friendly, I've launched Capitol Celiacs, both as a place for me to blog about new places I've found or great brands to try, and as a forum for you to share you favorite place for a gluten free treat.
There is a graveyard of gluten free DC blogs that I've found, so let's hope this one can last :)
